ACT 2 need advice(here some spoilers) be carefull new player
Very important with a minimum number of spoilers please. This is my first playthrough.
1) My map for example

I explored this section of the map. Without using long rest. Because i miss something in ACT 1 with using/not using rests and now i little bit scary to use this button.
For example if you find Grymforge and after few hours going to rest Nere just dies and location be empty. Or when i kill that witch in magical swapm in first turn just was a lot of lucky "crits" and her lair be bugged for me.
Can I rest without fear of losing content in ACT 2? I mean i scary if i press "LONG REST" prisoners in MoonRise tower will be dead or something like that.
2) GUNLET OF SHAR.

I found this entrance and game give me a important massage.
"Something on the map will be changed. Quests will not be available anymore."
I thought that related to this particular map but its says "complete" on alot quests.
And here's what I'm thinking.
Maybe I should leave this place? Forget about the vile Balthazar for now and come back later? Will Balthazar disappear if I take a long rest? Or? I just idk so many options in my head.

that's the door to basically act 3 (well.. end of act 2) only go in there when you are ready to lose access to act 1 areas and have completed quests. resting doesn't matter for this so don't worry there.

I did a bunch of Long Rests in Act 2 to make sure I didn't miss any cutscenes, and I don't recall anything getting locked out. Depending on your actions in A1 and A2, there is a quest that wants you to find someone in the ruined battlefield. Not sure if that has an invisible timer on it.

The pool in the Shar Temple is a bit of a point of no return. Once you kick that off, events in this area are going to progress. Complete everything you want to, talk to people you want, etc..

There are some quests that will progress after you go past this point of no return.

Understood. Very grateful to both of you. Then Ill get the hell out of here and use all the wine ive found so far. My group definitely deserved a break from their mad commander.
