If she would go for Selune side of the things there is a quite predictable turn of the events (I suspected this would be the case since she shared the childhood memory with the character) and her personal quest would continue.
It does not just end there ;) either way. No spoilers though.
Selunite for good. Shar for evil.
Selune is about love and compassion and all that usual crap. Shar is about accepting an S goddess and embracing the M within you.
Nope. It doesn't end there of course. The same general questline will happen, just with different dialogues and results.
