Any mod authors here want to "fix" the Zaithisk Debuff (aka weakened)
I forgot all my coding from college but it should be a simple save file modification removing the -2 for con/int/wisdom with 0. Would be an extremely popular mod for alot of really frustrated players.

This post is not a discussion of if you think the effect is fair or not. It's just letting mod authors know their is an audience that would love it.

I never got this debuff but is it possible to remove with any high end spells or remove curse maybe? I had a pretty nasty debuff from something else and it was removed with remove curse

nothing removes it, and alot of people are very aggressive about peopel that want ppl to accept it when they realize ours later they have -2 to three stats.

Nothing removes it. Not greater restoration ,not remove curse, not dying and not respecing. The choices would have to be removed from a save file or a mod would have to give you back the missing points.

You should take that to the Larian Discord, that's where the modders are.
scared of getting dogpiled over there by the hyper fans that think we should live with all choices but thanks for the idea.

An alternate option if you aren't to far is those debuffs don't happen if you pass the checks I read online cuz I didn't know of these debuff personally, so save scum the results to pass, it's an annoying option but one that I guess works better then waiting for a mod lol

Im curious, has anyone tried giving her Noblestalk afterwards?

I just did this scene, and supported Lae'zel throughout till the dream visitor destroyed the machine, but she doesnt have any debuffs and her stats didnt change at all. What decisions actually cause the debuffs? Then again, Shadowheart "killed" her about 10 hours ago and it didnt stick, so i guess she could just be bugged

Does killing the character and reviving them with Withers remove it?

Multiple ppl on reddit say the noblestalk doesn't work. Haven't tried it but have tried all the cure spells.

there are three checks in the machine. Each fail is a different debuff. Wis/Con/Int. It doesn't show as a traditional debuff. You have to go to your character sheet and scroll down to the bottom. I've repeated it dozens of times, if you didn't get the debuff it was a bug or you passed the checks.

I'd have to go back 10 hours on one playthrough, which I'd rather just make a new character than replay that with the same setup and story decisions.

Or pick up leazel on another playthru at that rate I don't blame you, just class someone else into her build instead lol

I had Lae'zel as Eldritch Knight until i noticed her Zaithisk debuffs when magic missile was 33% to hit with advantage lmao Rerolled her as Champion for the extra crits, and gave her the Grym Helm to stop her from being crit (although she had that helmet for a while up to that point, but i aint taking it from her now lol) and she's still an absolute menace in battle even with the CON debuff. To be fair, yeah, she still gets killed more often than im happy with, but she's a huge threat and takes at least 3-4 enemies with her if she does go down lol

there's already a mod that gives underwear to set all stats to 20 since you don't care about playing correctly.

Why stop there with cheating? There's plenty of mods that let you set your stats or whatnot. Why half ass cheat?

I'll choose the Ilithid powers as a bonus action.

Just live with it.

It sucks, but it is what happened.
