I just got cucked out of my win...

So let me paint a picture for you all, i'm at final boss of act 2, i pursuade roll my way past first phase every time but the battle almost always ends with my characters in a no-win situation either by or more wounded characters sitting in the boss's bone chill aura or things going to hell and back via its draw in effect.

After 3hrs, some 30+ attempts things go my way, i land 2 crits on the boss, my OC lands a firewall spell, dame actully pulls her weight for a change instead of getting 1-shot or enthralled and does good damage...i FINALLY finish it off with a fireball and the cutscene begins to play, i'm litterally cheering for myself going" YES! WAH-HOO! FINALLY GOT EM!"

and then....

*GAME CRASH!!!*

I relauch the game praying it autosaved prior but nope...so now i'm back to square one and it feels like the devs personally programmed that crash in to screw me over for the "trolololo" of it all.

I'm 90% sure that's not the case but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell does it feel like it!

Sadly no, I had no issue with it... what level are you?

8s across the board, i grinded as much as i could before fighting this boss.

OC Warlock 2/Lore Bard 5
OC Arcane Trickster Rogue
Shadowheart Ancients Paladin
Astarion Light Cleric.

SH misty stepped, freed Aylin and took on Mind Flayer before joining main fight.

Rogue and Lock/Bard just went full DPS

Cleric stood by boss to grant Rogue SA and blasted the minions.

30+ attempts suggests you're doing something wrong? How are you getting 1shot?

We were level 9 so that may be part of it, but I also kinda have a dumb build in the sense I made the game a smidge easy on accident lol

Now that you made me think of it I also crashed near the end of this fight cuz I had a few crashes myself but my brother was the game host so we didn't loose anything. Overall I think I have crashed 3 times and he crashed once
