EARLY ACCESS PLAYERS - QUESTION
Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anybody remembers during the early access period of the game, when you were playing multiplayer, your character would speak with your friend's character? You could agree and disagree during short conversations.

Also wondering if anybody knows why that feature was removed?

I honestly don't recall being able to dialogue between real playable characters in any Larian game, just the controllable companion.

I know what you mean, however I am certain this was a feature, but only during the early access period. It altogether disappeared once the game reached official launch

I remember this, back in early access in moments like the crypt before you release withers, when you finish killing the undead exclamation marks for dialogue would pop up on the other player characters, and when interacting with them a set of dialogue options would be chosen with some of them even being voiced.

another time it happened was when you meet the two humans with the true soul dying from the owlbear attack, when you had the choice of releasing the tadpole or crushing it under your heel after it left his eye another exclamation mark would pop up that would allow you to interact with other player characters through dialogue (though like the first example typically the first or last persons dialogue would be voiced if at all).

Not sure why they removed it, a bit sad not being able to have those little interactions with other players characters.

Wasn't doubting you, was just saying I can't recall one way or the other!
