Best multi-class for shadow monk?

I've just reached level 7 as a shadow monk and I am thinking if it is worth it to Multi-class him or stay pure monk? There are three options I think could be useful, Firstly fighter champion for action surge and crits on a 19, secondly rouge thief for cunning actions that don't use a ki point and extra bonus action for more flurry of blows/unarmed strikes and lastly ranger and lastly ranger gloomstalker, though i'm not really very convinced by this.

Not I will only take 3-4 levels of the second class, 3 if the traits are now tied to character level or 4 if it is still tied to class level like in the tabletop. What are the best options and route for me to go?

I haven't played it much, but I was toying with the idea of taking 2 levels in druid for spore druid's buff. Basically add 1d6 necrotic damage to all your attacks and get some temp hp, along with some basic utility spells/healing/etc.

Probably Rogue Thief because you get another bonus action, which is another unarmed strike

Thief is definatly the best rogue option for monk with the extra bonus attack but I can't get the idea of champion out of my head for action surge, crits on 19 and to a lesser extent second wind, all nice benefits to have. But i don''t know what I'll be giving up in the long run by missing out on the last 3-4 monk levels

I'm only at the the temple with all the gith in the mountain pass and just reached level 7 while slaughtering them all. I always wanted to reach level 6 for shadow step before I decided about any potential multi-classing

I always think 2 points in fighter is gonna be sick, but it never really is. However, I have a cool build with warlock, sorc and fighter. Haste yourself, action surge, quickened spell, do a million Eldritch Blasts in one turn.
