Sneaky killing at Goblin camp
So, I plan to do a bit of exploration at the goblin camping, but the priestess forced me to kill her and so I've been sneaky killing every group of goblins without alerting the camp every chance I get, I fear however, that I may need to rest at my camp before completing the job. If I come back the other day will the camp have turned hostile or I will get locked out of interacting with important characters there?

camping or resting won't affect their attitude towards you. Unless if some of the patrol stumble upon the dead bodies. but in that case, the camping is still not the factor that cause it.
I've been throwing the bodies at the spider pit. Do you think that's going to work? So far one has caught me looting the dead bodies, but it didn't aggro on me

If they find a body, they might accuse you of being the murder, but you will still have the option to go to jail, bribe, etc. -> Attacking here is usually not a good option.

Until you kill all three of the goblin leaders the outside camp will not turn hostile. I literally killed every single goblin, beside the one captive. :) I made sure to either hide the bodies, or kill at start those that tend to patrol to places no other goblins visit. Or enter a room, close the door behind you and let the killing begin:D

Also the whole of ACT 1 can be done without resting. (Unless the game forces you to do so due to quest progression, but it forces to take 3 rests.)

might help, but their patrol pattern is not random which is a good thing. so if you managed to clear out an area without them raising alarm and make sure none of the bodies are in the path or sight line of them, you should be good to go.

and yea, spotting alarm (like drums, trumpet, scrying floating eye) early and disable them early can help a lot.
