That's literally not what happened. I guess this is the change they made with release because in EA there was that point in Act I where your choice comes down to killing her, plot wise.
I either have encounter some serious bug, or have looped through the game narration, in the way it wasn't predicted (like artifact magically showing in my invertory, even though I didn't take it by force or steal it from her - i had some lame vague explanation, how it just popped out of no where)
The issue I have, unlike Gale or Astarian, her's progression is tide to a story and there should be a way to wrap that lose end, as in some way that isn't left imagination.
And to be frank, that my overall issue with BG3, I mean I get it, in a way but then again, this are not some random bystanders (6 origin companions) each one of them, directly or indirectly influence how the events and world around shapes, even it's not driven by your choices, there should be some character\s npc autonomy, that in some way presents a default consequence of the choice, that has visible, though passive impact.
When I met Gale for the first time I was like, "Finally, someone who isn't a massive ♥♥♥♥!"
She emotionally manipulates you to do her bidding , that is shadowheart the whole game over and it's obnoxious as hell , how people call it sweet is beyond me it's just a feminine trait used by women since they existed just to get what they want and she will constantly manipulate you to do something because of her god.
I did chase Gayle off, he ran screaming, there was glitter everywhere, made such a mess of the camp. Drama queen. He was at least kind enough to drop a bag with potions and scrolls as he left.
Thank you!
andrew tate? why are you here
Well just kill her at the start....see simple!
To teach shadowheart lovers a lesson!
