Overgrown tunnels Noxious fumes vents.. where??
OK, so chasing a hag into her lair is a rather silly idea, but here we are. And I am stuck in the Overgrown tunnels. I know you are supposed to ignite the noxious fumes and then block the vents that is leaking the fumes.. only these vents are nowhere to be found. Is this a bug?? I really dont wanna waste a single spellslot to use featherfall.

Like with most traps, you need to succeed a passive perception check to see the vents.

No need to ignite the gas either, just throw a whispering mask or something of similar weight on top of a vent.

That is why people carry crates and vases along - to block the vents.

Yeah well, I would if I could see them. But I did succeed the perception roll. Its just that I, the player, can't see the vents, not even when trying to highlight things.

Again, as I said, I know I'm supposed to block them, but I just can't see them.

Again, I know there are vents but I, the player, cant find them. Am I just suppsed to throw all my inventory at the whole area to hope it blocks the fumes??

pick up the stones in the room before from one of the corspes, you don't need to ignite the vents, mouse over and the vent show up highlighted, throw the heavy stone (actually you can throw any object if it's heavy enough to keep the vent closed), and that's it.
You literally just need two stones/heavy objects, the small fume on top of the ladder you can jump down avoiding it.

Do you know how a circle works? In the middle of those cloud areas is the vent.

How am I supposed to tell where the center is when I can't see the whole thing? Even after blowing up the gas when it starts reappearing it's starting in a diffuse area. I tried throwing a bunch of crap down in the area where it seems to start but it hasn't worked. And none of my characters have succeeded or failed at a perception check, they just don't happen. The passive check doesn't seem to be firing at all.

I was able to get past the first couple of noxious clouds but now I'm stuck at a point where the only way forward seems to be to go down a ladder into the cloud. I've spent over an hour at this stupid point.

featherfall is a ritual spell and one of the most useful spells int the whole game.

just use it.

I got the featherfall boots from the Arcane Tower and those were Ritual cast from an item, I assume the spell itself is a Ritual cast?
Never played a spellcaster so I have no idea.

It is ritual when out of combat & turn based mode. It lasts for 10 turns or 60 seconds. So cast it then immediately enter turn based mode and have everyone hop like frogs to the bottom
