they've mostly been sticking to phb with a few exceptions.
Currently, when it comes to features, EK has pretty much just the Shield as a reaction (and maybe Exp. Retreat to be used as a bonus action "Dash"). It's just much worse than 1 Wizard + 11 Battle Master, I hope they will come up with something to make EK more viable
EK is my favorite tabletop class. :D
(yes you can install mods already, via dubious 3rd party programs etc that aren't supported on all platforms the steam game supports - mass adoption wont happen til it's "built-in" via the workshop )
In particular, they ensured that the range was Self (5' radius) so you can't Twin Spell them; and that they require an actual melee weapon worth at least 1 sp as a material component; so you can't annoy your DM by casting them with, say, an arcane focus crystal ball in one hand and a beer stein in the other.
