Anyone figured out exactly how many of the goblins you can kill leaders included and still help them attack the grove?

You can kill all the goblins and 2 of their leaders and just leave Minthara, and the attack will happen.

Killing the leaders is enough although once at level 5 you can more or less butcher the whole camp if you want with the 3 ogres since most of them are only 4 hp. For me the whole camp was on alert because one of the ogres was seen killing a guard so i butchered the whole camp. Mid way through I betray the ogres because I refused to pay them and wanted to steal their Warped Headband of Intellect which will set your intellect to 17 when worn. NPCs were saying I murdered the whole camp afterwards.

AS long as you have activated Minthara for the attack you and she has left, can kill anyone else in the camp. Otherwise she will turn hostile after you kill the others and you won't be able to activate the quest.

good to know, ty. seemed such a waste to leave all that xp and loot just because they were temporary allies
