reshade banner on screen

Does anyone know how to remove the reshade notification banner off of the game screen?

Assume you installed Reshade separately. Googling suggests this happens and there seems to be a range of suggestions including config file changes in reshade; pressing the Home button on your keyboard and changing settings in reshade utils. It seems that this might be related to the reshade tutorial which can get stuck in the config file is not writable.

All I can suggest is use google and try each suggestion in turn. I don't use reshade myself.

Huh. Interesting. Never had it that the config file is not writable. Considering the installer I cannot even imagine it unless threadstarter put it into their Documents folder.

No, I didn't press anything. It's a banner that was always present during early access. Now it's only present when playing Vulkan instead of dx11. I assumed everyone had it... It says reshade is up to date press the home button for a tutorial.

You have ReShade installed on your computer somewhere, Google how to pull up the console and turn it off and/or how to uninstall it.

To my knowledge, I didn't install Reshade. I assumed it came with the game for Vulkan. I also assumed everyone had this banner present and just knew how to dismiss it. I suppose I could try uninstalling reshade and seeing if it changes.

I run the game in Vulkan and have not seen this.

Screenshot. Otherwise we have to assume you did not do a clean install of early access.

I uninstalled reshade and it resolved the issue. However, I believe reshade was associated with Cemu/BOTW and the Sims. So, if anyone does actually figure out how to have reshade installed and not have the banner issue that would be great. idk how to post a screenshot directly to this discussion. I made an image public that shows the banner.
