is there a way to dim weapon light source?

Rogue and hellfire hand crossbow. Crossbow is burning, and creating a light source.

Oddly enough, my rogue can still stealth and pass the stealth checks even in full light from the crossbow, but, i have gear that depends on being in shadow, and THAT strops working when the crossbow is out.

The probable bug with stealth aside, is there a way to make the crossbow 'dark'?

I know i can light a weapon with Daylight spell. maybe a coating? overwerite the fire effect? I cant really think of anything to be honest.

Check the passive hot bar at the bottom of your screen. Had a similar issue with a specific halberd and I could disable the light source. You should be able to toggle it off.
