No, there's no Inquisitor class in Dnd 5E. The only classes BG3 is currently missing are Monk and Artificer.

To be fair, Artificer isn't phb, and thus not announced. There's also Bloodhunter, which is on d&dbeyond, and some count as official class, though it is Critical role content.
So the only class that's announced that's still missing is the monk.

Perhaps they meant the Inquisitive Rogue subclass? The answer is still "probably not" since it's from Xanathar's, but this wouldn't be the first person I've heard call it Inquisitor instead of Inquisitive.

My guess is that they are referring to the Inquisitor class from Pathfinder, given that Kingmaker is in their recently played games.

I'm guessing that the OP is referring to the paladin sub-class that was playable in BG2 (and later BG1:EE). They weren't able to cast spells like regular paladins, but could use dispel magic and true sight (equivalent of the 5e spell True Seeing) a limited number of times per day and were immune to hold and charm effects.

AFAIK, there's no equivalent sub-class in D&D 5e, so I wouldn't expect it to be in BG3.

Yah, there’s no Inquisitor class.
It’s not in the PHB so it likely won’t be in the game.

I wouldn’t expect Artificer either.
