And this is after playing it for 30 minutes. The character customisation absolutely sucks, shame Modders have to do the devs job for them. Hopefully more body types will be modded in soon
most of bg3's direct competitors dont even really have character customization
• Fully custom parties from start.
• Rolling for stats.
• Level 14.
• Missingbfeats.
• Rebalanced encounter design.
• Options to disable/enable homebrew.
Everything else is just icing. I might grab a cosmetucs mod eventually.
Larian doesn't make expansions or DLC. Ever.
rolling for stats just seems dumb people would just reroll until they got what the wanted and if it was limited just restart the character process. rolling for stats just ends up being a time waster. if you really want random stats de-lvl everything then use a D6 on each stat till your out of points.
Truthfully though, I won't mess with mods till the game has been out for around 6+ months, patched and things are stable for the mod community. Too much risk of a patch completely breaking your save if you run mods, since many of these mods become permanent fixtures within your save game once used.
