Personally after meeting Lump the enlightened I would really have loved half ogre playable character.

There are playable fish people in D&D but I don't think the Kuo-Toa are one of them.

Closest we'd get to playable Half-Ogres would probably be pureblooded Orcs.

There's a lot of playable races they could add. Just look through the D&D Beyond pages for them, and that's just the ones that the D&Dbeyond app supports.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/races

I'm sure that mods will eventually add most of them.

Wouldn't say no to Goliaths either. But I'd still prefer playable Goblins, Centaurs, Minotaurs and other more monstorous races any day.

Monsters of the Multiverse alone adds about 30 or more playable races to the tabletop if I recall correctly, all of them very awesome.

Think racials are very similar to that of orcs so maybe it wouldn't have worked in this game since half orcs already there, just imagine it would have made for some fun RP if they was sorta viewed with same disdain that lolth drows are.

Yup. Pureblooded Orcs are not very well-liked in this setting. For good reason which may or may not involve the creation of Half-Orcs.

Kuo-Toa -- I don't think we need them as player characters, but I'll bet they would make really good gumbo. Tastier than Tengu and less stringy than kobold.

And you got your Kuo-Toa creole, your Kuo-Toa stew, your Kuo-Toa almondine, Kuo-Toa Meunière, Kuo-Toa scampi, Kuo-Toa ceviche, Kuo-Toa and chips, Kuo-Toa paella, plus they would go well in any cioppino or bouillabaisse.
