How so? My knowledge in dnd is limited so some enlightenment would be nice. What's so game breaking that it wouldn't be fun anymore?
Also past 12 tends to be difficult to balance, more so with a "rigid dm"
The campaign module just isn't designed for 13+
The higher level spells in D&D would be really hard to balance and put in a videogame.
However this ALSO means your enemies get to do the same thing which is EXTREMELY hard to balance..
Basically in DnD 5E after roughly level 12 or so battles become "whoever strikes first wins" with little option for variety.
"full dnd experience" you talk about are campaigns in some arbitrary 6-10 range. That's it.
At least for myself.
you are not the only one, there is a game called asura’s wrath where you play as a god who goes around killing other gods.
some people love playing OP characters, i myself have been known to enjoy it from time to time
Trying to balance "god level" characters in Dnd 5E is a nightmare. Strategy doesn't exist anymore, it's whoever casts the first high level spell wins the battle...
