HDR cursor colour
Hi, I have an Alienware 2721D and it's not the best monitor for HDR as it doesn't have a great deal many lighting zones, so they're quite obvious in dark areas when you hover the cursor over them, I was wondering if I could change the cursor colour any way to make this less egregious, as HDR seemingly makes the cursor go from grey to some sort of messed up super bright white

I have the same issue, you have found a solution?

Yes, the solution is very stupid but work... Activate the Mouse Trail in windows... yes it works!! Put it at the minimum length so it does not bother in game

For those having AMD graphic cards I found another solution without activating cursor trailing in Windows:

Open the AMD settings for BG3, you can do that while playing too opening the overlay (default: CTRL + Shift + G): Scroll down > Display > Display Color Enhancement > Dynamic Contrast > set to 0
Image quality won't change while the mouse pointer will revert to the correct color like in SDR mode and resolution, works in HDR using both DirectX and Vulkan.
