is there really no way to pour this into one of the many,many vats around the waning moon in order to trick his patrons into drinking and then killing themselves?

it seem like the logical next step after finding a special named recipe very close to the boss... there are distillators all over, his patron are begging for a new drink and his whole shtick is drinking... there even a giant vat/distillator thing behind the actor which looks like i should be able to interact with it to pour in the poison...

is it meant to be something i can interact with but its bugged or is it really just to coat my weapon with during the boss fight?

i cant even bring it up or convince him to drink while at the bar... i even tried sneaking over incase i need to like reverse pick pocket him or something but he just starts the drinking convo. it feel really wierd like that this interaction isn't in the game as it feel so obvious that im genuinely wondering if its a bug?
