turning off multiplayer

How the hell can i turn this off i have tried in the options to hide my session and use the restrict who can join options, as i just wan to play solo.
I thought it was sorted logged in today and was constantly getting join requests, it starting to p iss me off and it ruining my immersion of the game,
Now one of my game party members is gone, i wish they done this differently, can any one please help me turn this bloody feature off thanks.

Umm... just load the save as a single player game?

This, is it really so hard to look at the games options for people? Could have done it in less time it took to make this thread.

This is one of the most braindead posts i've seen, you want to play solo but are playing the game through a multiplayer lobby? Just run it through singleplayer, plays the exact same.

Im not dismissing frustrations or anything, but 99% of post like this are solved before the problem is caused by spending 2mins in the options before starting and turning off things you dont want on, which is something everyone should be doing first. Specifically in this case online visibility is literally the first option on the screen when you open the options menu. If its buried deep in a long list of options sure, but its not here.

People really shouldn't need to be coddled so much on such basic things.

You want to play solo and yet you create a co-op session? (It's not really "multiplayer" in the accepted sense) Why would you do that and then complain?

what i was trying to say is if you read it property is i had turned that option OFF and people were still joining

If you want to play solo, then don't start a co-op session. I have never started a co-op session.

Are you loading a game that was started as a MP game and are now trying to play it solo?

Side note if you use and Xbox controller to play, I don't remember which button it is but there is a glitch on pc where one of the buttons triggers it to pop up that prompt non stop, I experienced it even in my single player game.
