She's a faithful born and raised warrior of the Githyanki empire, she's trying to prove her worth to a divine like Queen.
She's not just a soldier, she's a survivor of the harsh "natural" selection of the githyanki education.
Of course she is nsufferable. She's proud, brutal and straight forward.

That's a good reason to carry her and free her from this endotrination.

I really like her character.

Sure, she's abrasive at first but she's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ warrior from a warrior race. God, that look on her face when you turn her down after beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of her. Had to use multi romance flags to get all three lasses under my love spell.
