Would love a way to change CC starting cantrip

As far as I can tell, Withers doesnt change the cantrip you start with from character Creation. Like I picked mage hand as a part of the half elf race selection. And paladin, the class itself, doesnt have access to firebolt or friends when respeccing.

That's just one of the half elf free cantrips... yeah cant change that. At least not now. Rumor is they are going to add race changes into the game in a later patch. Again.. that's only rumor/speculation though.

Indeed, that would prove to be a nice QoL change even if its a bit immersion breaking. The option itself would be appreciated.

fair, just wish my paladin had it either as a ranged hit option or to interact with environment (barrels or flammable surfaces). Granted, there are throw options

You can use alchemist fires or a crossbow with fire arrows. Both are littered throughout the gameworld.

Give Jack Skellington 100 gold at camp and he will rewrite reality for you and fix that problem.

Edit: Oh, you are playing a class that doesn't have firebolt to begin with. NVM then, he can't help you.

The OP means the elf racial cantrip. You can't change that.

Withers cannot change the cantrips that go with your race selection, such as high elves have a choice of 1 of about a dozen cantrips and drow half elves have that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dancing lights cantrip.

But withers can change cantrips that are associated with a class, such as druid choosing 2 out of 6 available. You just re-class and pick the ones you want.
