I don't like how the game actively encourages you as Dark Urge to destroy all normal ways of getting a moon lantern, but I guess that is the price we pay for picking the best origin.
This is what I was talking about. But unless you want to fight your way in for it (or go stealth) proper dialogue choices are best
i went to them as a ally, did karlach mission, romanced her, then did the dark urge option
so i just gotta go to the moonrise tower then? man dark urge is great but it seems to make the game harder too
i explained what i did right before i made that reply. is just going to moonrise tower my only option? theres no lantern anywhere in the inn. if there was a corpse that had it they either completely despawned or glitched
Alternatively, you can go to roughly the centre of the map and fight him instead. But it's not an easy fight by any means.
i did that sided with the ambushers... one guy got the lantern, he died at the inn couldnt find his corpse.
You'll have to either find his corpse or do your best to make it to Moonrise alive
reloaded the save... gonna try to "redeem the dark urge"
I found his corpse. He has nothing. It is just bugged. I think the intended way was for Isobel to drop the lantern after we killed her, since the quest marker points there. They just forgot to add it.
