I don't understand why people are fine with barbarians armed to the teeth clearly ready to kill anyone walking around, or are fine with wizards that clearly have powerful magic - but the moment you summon an air elemental, people start to panic out of nowhere.
I know it might "make sense" to a degree, but from a game-play point of view the only thing that happens from people getting scared is that it makes it harder to interact with people you need to talk to. Nobody ever calls the guards on you for having elementals around, you don't actually get in trouble for it - people just run away screaming, then walk back, then run away again, etc.
Well, I suppose the villagers are used to armed thugs walking around. Summoning literal monsters is another thing entirely.
Animals belong in a barn, not the tavern.

Would have thought this would have been sorted out before it got released unless we somehow got through the entirety of early access without anybody reporting it/using summons.
