Do rage-triggered effects work with frenzy instead?

This is probably a dumb question, but I was wondering if rage-triggered effects also work with frenzy, which completely replaces rage at a certain level. I'd love to get the bonespike armor for my barbarian but the price is pretty steep, I'd rather be sure before commiting. I can't seem to find a specific post about this anywhere, so I thought I'd ask.

So I realized I was dumb since this is a game with quicksaves, so I just saved before buying, then triggered a fight by murdering a random bystander, and what do you know the bonespike garb DOES work with frenzy.

TLDR; Rage = Frenzy even when frenzy isn't mentioned in the description

Where do you get the bonespike armor? Cant even find a wiki page or anything for it. I remember seeing it but cant find it again.

Frenzy is just an upgrade to rage, as are the beast heart rages
