Lag when changing party members
I have a weird lag when I ask someone to wait for me at the camp or join my group. Once I ask them, the dialogue is closed but my character and party member stay "in dialogue" for another 5-10 seconds before the change finally happens.

During this time I cannot control them and/or switch to other characters but the world around is very much alive.

It wasn't like that on the start and old saves (when I just entered Emerald) are fine as well but something has happened around the time when I was doing initial talks with tieflings, their kids and druids and now whatever I do I have this lag =(

Has anyone else encountered same issue and maybe knows how to solve it?

It's very odd, yea. I have it in one of my runs but not in the others and I can't for the life of me figure out what I have done differently.
I mean, it's the least of things I'd change about party management.
- While in camp, I want to be able to access everyone's inventory plus the stash on one screen (albeit one that would no doubt need some scroll bars or similar features). Could just be the current party inventory screen but with the option to scroll horizontally to non-active characters; the only other thing that would need is to have the sorting options on it.
- Choosing an option that could involve changing party members, or even clicking on a persistent (while in camp) on-screen control, should take you to a "party management" screen where you can drag and drop party members you want active without having to run around camp and do it through the dialogue system for each character individually, complete with them trying to guilt-trip you about it.
- And keys, alchemy ingredients, quest items, a shovel, and maybe some other things with lore significance should go in a "party stash" that's always considered to be with you regardless of your current party composition, its weight (if it must count at all) divided evenly between the active party members.

In short, this doesn't need one bug fixed, it needs a massive overhaul. Hopefully there's a "definitive edition" or "enhanced edition" similar to the DOS games where this gets some love.

i can see all that for sure... but this post isn't really about quality of life things. this seems more like a bug or something

I think it reloads a lot of stuff from story when you change party members and the more you "did" in the area the longer it takes to switch party members. I think the biggest contributor here is the amount of items you have collected but I might be wrong

I think so, it does appear that items impact it. Maybe I should turn down settings or something
