Game forcing into a homosexual relationship?

I mean wtf? D; Just had a scene with Gale, i haven't said anything or done anything to make it seem like i want to bang him, and here we are, banging. Does this lock me out of romance with Shadowheart? I've been wooing her, is this a bug?

If you're actually banging then you 100% were not forced into it.

If you're upset that you wound up in a flirty magic scene "against your will" you might want to get checked out for autism. You're missing clear social queues in the dialogue choices you make.

Characters hit on you regardless of your gender, race or whatever. They're not homosexual, they're player sexual

I had to rudely turn down Gale and it didn't ruin my Shadowheart romance, but it is weird when I'm with Shadowheart whole game and men keep coming on to me when they know this.

yeah I thought I was just having a bro moment with gale and he was showing me some magic, then all of a sudden I'm getting dialogue prompts to start making out with him. I wish you could choose your characters sexual orientation during character creation so you don't have every male character trying to ♥♥♥♥ you

Same problem for me too and I started a thread about it as well. The solution for me, thankfully as I was playing Dark Urge, was to sacrifice him at the end of Act 2 instead of the other main NPC character the butler wants you to kill. Forced gay relationship fixed with bloody murder.

Two choices to be hit on him and one to be a ♥♥♥♥. Where are the normal choices, like that's unfortunate. Or maybe all we can do is make the best of today and/or look forward to the future.

Nothing about gale suggests he is gay, it absolutely comes out of left field when you're talking to him about magic and then all of a sudden he wants to ♥♥♥♥ you. Luckily I paid attention to the prompts and didnt end up like OP

We live in WEIRD TIMES where what was unacceptable just a few years ago has become the norm. They arrest and sometimes jail people in my area for bestiality... Hey, some gratuitous booty is ok, but Larian as well as Steam have pushed the lawyers to the front of the battle when little Johnny who got chopper to become little Susie realizes that the ability to have transgender parts in a game is different when they do it in real life? LOL I decided I wasn't going to be romantic with any party member. My Cleric of Mystra (not knowing) had a moment with Gale... and... I was literally yelling at the screen... Don't you dare... no no no... thankfully nothing happened and then it gives you an option to make it more intimate or go to bed... So realizing that Gale with misreading my intent... I went to bed...

Nothing was forced.

Also Gale isn't gay none of the characters are gay, they are omnisexual... they like anything as long as it is the PC player.

If you are getting into same sex romances that is about the choice you are making.
