Last Light Inn question spoiler possible bug

This is a spoiler from the beginning so don't read if you haven't been here.

Ok so I get to the Inn talk some stuff with some people.
Only thing worth mentioning is progressing with Karlach's heart.
I talk with Jaheira she sends me to Isobel. I get blessing and next thing is the whole inn gets ambushed, by some douche who wants to kidnap Isobel. Not on my watch. Kill some demons, kill the main guy; no problem. (lot of people have problems here for some reason, not me) dude gets shredded in two rounds.
Only casualty of the whole fight is poor Alfira.

Now my problem starts. Isobel is safe so lets explore more. I go outside on the bridge meet some rangers that tell me about a caravan holding the lantern to suppress the dark curse. Ok I go outside ambush the caravan, get the lantern and I go back to the Inn; except almost everybody is turned hostile zombie except some random 3 rangers. Barely 30 minutes passed.
WTF is one supposed to do?

I read some sparse info on the web, but as the game is new not much info is available.
From what I get is that either you lose Isobel and the outcome is what happened to me or you save her and you're fine. As I saved her I thought it's done for.

Btw I noticed this 9 hours later when I ported from the Shar gauntlet back, but I tried investigating if something else triggered and backtracked slowly to the earliest save I have after leaving the inn which is what I described.

The reason people complained about the fight is because Isobel used to have less HP and less AC and was burst within like 2 rounds if you didnt immediatly explode Marcus.

Now, I dont know the actual problem you have, but maybe Isobel died after the fight due to some weird consistent AoE effect? Like a Cloud of Daggers you forgot to disable?

Or there is an arbitrary long rest limit, but I dont think there is.

For me, i explored more before "go up and talk to isobel"-quest,
and that quest just dissapeared from log and game and jaheiras dialogue so ive never even gotten to meet this isobel =/

Only thing weird after fight was she was still petrified with 1HP, so I thought after a while it will fall off.
But less than 30 minutes passed during which I killed 5 mobs, and didn't do any quests; that's what I find strange.

problem is mostly in this so Isobel run outside room into group of winged horrors its why its good to block doors ,also often Marcus just waste her in 1st round alot depend from luck ,initiatives etc.
But in this case i dunno if she was petrified but alive it should work ,still i would heal her before leaving yea ...

Healing had no effect on her.

Doesnt matter when the quest and isobel disappears from the game as if she was brainwashed out of existance and no one remembers or mentions her ever again

use basilisk oil, you got from the place where you found necromancy of thay book in act1

Basilisk oil also does nothing. Shes knocked out on the ground. Nothing I do is waking her up.

restoration or remove curse doesn't work either? Or that command that picks up downed characters.
