Missing max HP

So i am in Act3 progressing with the Shadowheart quest. After a big battle i noticed that something was odd with my party HP, load a previous save and find out that all my party had a -40 max hp after this battle. No debuff, no curse, absolutely nothing appear on the character sheet... long rest did not fix this issue and i'm kinda upset by this thing. Someone had the same problema or have heard about something similar?

This just happened to me now, except i levelled Lae’Zel up and gave her the Tough feat. No idea what went wrong

Something similar just happens to me, went back and checked and remembered i changed to ha higher difficulty 😑. So if your entire party just dropped by a lot in max hp, that might be why :)

Does reduced hp due to some lifedrain/necrotic damage show up as a debuff?
Well, if that was the case, greater restoration/long resting should fix it...

The only spell that can reduce your max hp in BG3 is a 6th level necromancy spell called "Harm". Max HP is also tied to game difficulty however, so if you swapped to Tactician/Honour (and forgot) that would do it too.
