Misty step RUINS the game
Especially early game it just eliminates the need for positioning and nearing the end of act 1 all of your characters basically have it by then, some of my characters can use it two or three times in a row so what’s the point in positioning your characters when everyone can just teleport at will with no downside? They really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this up game for sure and it’s sad to see

By OPs logic Thaumaturgy ruins the game because I used it to gain advantage to top Lae'zel

I used guidance from Shadowheart which made that scene hilarious.

Resting IS limited by supplies which are a finite resource
You can literally long rest every encounter in the game and still have more than enough - which i did on my first play through and i still had a ton by the end
this is the real thing the OP should have focussed on - why can i long rest every single fight and be left with enough for several giant feasts at the end

I find misty step very rare and you can only use it once per day.

^ exactly what i use it for XD

Pretend it does not exist, game un-ruined.

Its literally a famous game development aphorism "given the opportunity players will optimize the fun out of a game"

this is the problem

like many other things in this game you gotta limit yourself or it becomes a bit too cheesy ;)

that's why i'm collecting barrels instead of using them.

You can rest and take up half of your food supply that’s a consequence misty step has none

Larian LOVED teleports in DivinityOS2, so much so no matter your build style you got one so it's not surprising to see more of it here, it's still toned down much more than in Divinity though.

Yeah, it's totally misty step that ruins the game and not fighter with its hasted 10 attacks per round with GWM. Or paladin with smite damage so strong they can almost 1 shot bosses with it.

Dude, only one or two characters in my party had that spell, and I HARDLY used it. Yes, there are some encounters that would have been so much easier if we did use it, but not all.

How are you guys using buffs in camp? I keep trying to and the game auto removes them once I roll. Maybe it's a bug.

I think you can just move SH over by your MC in camp and it should offer it. I can't verify as I just use the guidance necklace in camp.
