last boss bugged?

when fighting the elder brain I killed everyone and their mother, but I can't target the crown at all. Is it bugged or is this supposed to be like that? and if it is, what should I do?

I had the same problem on one attempt, save where you are and reload you should be able to target it then.
(save in mid fight so you don't have to do it all over)

I am not sure how the last fight changes depending on your decision, also I have no idea who is mother, but for me it was not necessary to kill everybody, I just had to rush for the crown and keeping that beam active on that crown for 2 rounds at least to gain control over it. I am not sure if you talk about that part of after that, when you teleport into it to finish the brain or something like that.

no, there is a bug where sometimes you can't target the crown with the control skill, no matter where you stand or point your mouse, you have to save and reload.

me too, I don't think i touched the dragon or barely any mobs just flee in and zap

I personally sent 2 directly for the portal, the illithid gith and my main, i left the other 2 behidn to wreck the mobs, the main was sent to protect the gith illithid, then they both jumped through the portal only needed those 2 to kill the brain.

The dragon is worth to kill for achievement, but you can simple reload and do the fight differently. I think you also get different achievement, if you kill the dragon mid-flight, I am not sure about that, I killed the dragon before it could "fly".
