Mage Armor and False Life for late game?

Now both are level 1 spells so you will not run out of those in late game but are they still worth the Spell slot? What are your opinions?

False Life though? Nah.
But if you can get False life or even mage Armor as a scroll hell yeah!

Were talking about Level 1 slots in end game as 10-12 level.

I'm still using it (mage armor) at level 10.

I find it increadibly powerful has it stacks with armor bonus of some robes (like Wyll robes if you kill Karlach).
If you have a high dexterity it can even be more powerful than most of the best light armors.

Given Mage Armour is an Ritual Spell and you have access to Arcane Recovery, its not that big of a deal to spend 1 level 1 spell slot on it.
