The problem is that I put a level of barbarian to represent the fury of the dark urge (and because I wanted to go without armor and good AC), and the game crashes if you try to resume the oath, beware multiclass paladin.
Feel it will be for the RP of slowing going for noble hero to mindless killer.
Of the two options given though, I think Dark Urge Paladin works better with the storyline, bizzarely enough, and Paladin I feel is in a slightly stronger position power-scaling wise compared to Monk.
i mean the way of the monk is self-discipline
and having a murderous urge whilst trying to overcome it via self-discipline seems quite a story aswell.
If you pick paladin you will be an oathbreaker by 1st long rest, just as a warning.
Some people would like that though, that's your choice.
like choose all the good options despite a few bad outcomes? :O
