Explosive barrels are OP and i love it!
One of my favorite tactics in DOS2 was grabbing explosive barrels and using them against my targets. I love the fact that i can do this in Baldur's Gate 3.

a lil too OP. almost feels bad doing it.

Yeah it does kinda feel a bit "broken" but the developers clearly intended to allow this to be an option, there is a room in this level absolutely full of explosive barrels, and you can access that room fairly easily with a character that has decent jumping range.
Yep, used my first find in the Goblin Defiled Temple and bloodbath everyone from inner library (Rozak + Recruitable drow which I didn't know at the time) all the way outward to courtyard, easy XD

what slaver? you mean the trader? I'll kill every goblin in this level eventually.
Thanks, I hate it.

As long as you have one character with access to the Jump spell (bonus if it's a divine caster that doesn't even need to use up a "known spell" slot, or a Wizard that can learn everything), your entire party has access to the Jump spell, as long as you are not in combat.

Make sure to grab the Chest of the Mundane (weighs 40) from the wizard tower in the underdark. It turns anything you put in it to a .5 weight item. I have 21 barrels on me for the cost of 45.5 weight.

edit: it wont update the weight of the chest until you pick it up and move it to a different slot in your inventory, then it will be fine

By endgame, you'll be swamped with scrolls that do just as much damage that anyone can cast.

Yeah but they don't all have the same ranges though. And without some boost to the jump range (either via a character trait/class or item/spell) they don't have the range to jump there by default, unless you do what i did before I went back into the camp to bring Karlach with me, which was to stack the boxes so the characters could get closer to the ledge and reach it via jump.

The game full of "legal" exploits. that's one of them. Stealing exploit is already ruining my game experience (can't resist. besides, my main is a thief...). Atleast, not using that ♥♥♥♥
