Stuck in Cazadors Dungeon

So, I jumped down to the lower levels of Cazadors Dungeon trying to find the guy, unaware you were supposed to talk to the vampires (?) behind the gate and from what I can see, there's no way back up. I can't fly there. The Camera is even letting me see the floor I jumped from to target the upper levels. There's a waypoint but it's not letting me leave.

What do I do? I haven't saved since really before the dungeon started and I don't want to do all these fights and find all this loot again, that would be super annoying. As far as I can tell, im soft locked in here. :/

Would appreciate some help.

There are plenty of places you can Fly up to; you just have to find them and maybe play with the camera a little.

There's also a DC 30 locked door out of the crypt's bottom floor, which you should be able to save scum for, if you really can't figure out the flying.

There is a door into the sewer you can leave by if you are stuck and can't get back up to the higher levels otherwise.

I played with the camera for a whole hour. The Gloomy Ascent just takes you to the sewers where you talk to the half wood elf. You cant do anything else here.

Did you bring your whole party down there? What I did when I was stuck there was have the rest of my party take the elevator back up and it brought my MC with them.

Why the hell would you put a waypoint down there and it doesn't work. Wtf Larian?

Decided to just bite the bullet and re-do the route i took originally. From this vantage point I can see there was a way to stack boxes on top of one another and make steps of a sort, but that wasnt something i would be able to tell from the ground floor.

Theres xp down there too i gotta miss because im not going to risk it. 'L' game design Larian.

What worked for me was to go into the sewers and then use the waypoint into Cazador's Dungeon.

Who is the companion linked to your character? is it a side character that can be used as additional ally?

I reloaded my save from before I took Cazador out of his coffin and then there was no rockfall between me and the exit and I could speak to Ulma. I went straight out this time though and did not muck about getting items until I had saved the game and then I went down into where there were some metal boxes and collected a load of stuff then used the waypoint to get back to the rest of the party and then used the elevator to go back upstairs.

this happened to me..lmao. totally stuck as the camera wont rotate out enough to fly anywhere. you need to misty step through the front wall facing the stairs where you fight cazador. you can misty the wall then go up get way point and teleport your team
