Act 1 is where most of the effort when.
Act 2 is forgettable and act 3 is even worse.
That said.
Take the mountains.
There less tedious.
And no, there is not sunlight in act 2 but at least its above ground.
Means the setting changes to night maps or to labyrinthic buildings?
But yes you won't see an actual "city" or village until Act 3.
Is this a problem? For some, maybe. For most? No.
Execpt my opinions are facts.
Because there my opinions :P
Oh you will love Act 2 aka "The Shadowlands" :D
I liked act 2! Altough it has less encounters then I would like but considering where it takes place haha that's to be expected.
Glitches aside, Act 2 and 3 are great and well received by most of the community. I acknowledge the bugs. They will certainly clean these up over the next month.
There are just a vocal minority of people (like yourself) that can't stop whining.
Well, does it feel like you being railroaded through a dungeon full of silly mushrooms?
So, Underdark is not all that glorious if you bring the D&D experience here, that I know, but:
You can only say that it is boring if you only know how to go down the Underdark, and try to find the passage wandering around like a headless chicken.
For the evil characters, and I mean evil characters, not the "bad guy lovers", you can do a lot of despicable things, like torture slaves, slap some defenseless people around, kill innocents, and wreck an otherwise nice folk that was doing some nice things like harbor runaway slaves.
Or you can play the nice guy and free the slaves, hunt some treasure, lie to comfort a broken up couple, save another, and smug kill one of the "True Souls" in the process.
But I guess, if you run the game trying to end it as soon as possible, everything else is boring.
Sure, the game is not a black pearl among fish dung, rather a more shinny dung where no pearls are on sight, but there are "some" work put on it, and you might only say Act 1 is nice, Act 2 is boring and Act 3 is broken if you cant really learn how to play a game by its first few hours.
But I wonder, why would someone play a game that is dark themed to see nice cities and sun light ? Do you play cyberpunk to gardens and fields of azure ? lol
No mushrooms in act 2! Lol but the whole area has a curse over it, altough with the right choices made you'll have lots of FREEDOM and the curse is no issue (Hint hint wink wink!)
