Tbh it's kinda fast imo.
I've got a dnd game going where my players have been level 3 for an irl year.
Haven't heard a single complaint about it the entire time.
Game is about roleplaying, not chasing that carrot on a stick. This isn't Diablo. Leveling is a secondary aspect of the game.
The fact the game is capped at level 12 is actually great. It forces people to understand that games of this type don't have to focus on leveling alone.
Play the game however the hell you want, and don't listen to people whining about how YOU play YOUR game in single player mode.
