Cannot start the Grym fight

Hey, so it's my first playthrough and I've come across this forge below Grymforge that I cannot seem to start up. I'm fine with spoilers at this point bc I've managed to lower the platform after collect a handful of moulds, 6 i believe.

Again, I am inviting any info that may contain spoilers and would just like to fire this thing up.

Add mould > Add ore> hit with hammer and lower> unleash lava> hit again

We'll need some more info on what you've tried to do.
You said you lowered the platform, so you're at ground (well, lava) level, right? Did you try to interact with the lava valve and nothing happened?

You have to set up the forge first

you need to make sure you have placed the mitheral ore in the centre part and the mold you want in the other part then press the lever which will make the platform go down then turn the valve over by the grate to release the lava which triggers the boss fight to begin

The books you can loot from the trio of schmucks looking for the forge in the first part of the underdark zone detail its operation.

One was behind the half circle arena where you fight the constructs and another on the path to Gryforge you can turn left

There is mithril ore in the zone. You can find it on some walls and "mine" it by attacking it with different types of attacks. I think some is if you go up the stairs again from where you came on the right where the fire enemies are

There are two, close to the forge itself. One's next to the path going down right before the forge (with some mephits spawning when you get close), the other one is a bit before that, by taking the path behind the animated armours.

Not sure but I think you need to find some ore and toss it in there. If I remember correctly there's ore really close, like right around the corner
