That comp should be just fine though.
Also, if you beat the inquisitor, you only then need to fight one more small group of Githyanki and you can long-rest in the first room of the creche.
make sure you are as ready as possible before leaving the plane, this for me meant getting all available buffs on and drinking an elixer for everyone. Make sure everyone has full health, and is holding potions. Use alchemy here if you need to.
In the fight itself, take out the 2 mages immediately, ideally on turn 1. If they can misty step away you probably wont win. Then focus the ranged /crossbow guy, and leave the warrior and the inquisitor for last. You want to focus all of these down ASAP. Debuffs, poison coatings, everything you got, use it. Getting a debuff like blind/poison on the inquisitor will make him miss a lot more and make the fight actually possible, if he is full strength he is likely to fully kill a party member every turn. Use misty steps, everything you got. It is possible but extremely hard and will likely take a few tries and some luck.
Also idk i found the fight ez, i was lvl 5 or 6. Rest of the creche is easyer than the Inquisitor cuz you can bait and fight them 1by1 or in small groups instead of a whole room.
I had the same party setup, works fine.
Some spells are more op than others, depends on how you leveled your characters.
If you got a bad build, gonna have a hard time.
You can also rest between fights in the creche if you decide to go back and clear them out. Just keep the fights local where the group is, there is enough space. No need to spread so much. The creche leader office (i guess you can try to be more economical in the fight with the inquisitor if you did not clear the office first), the cave with the merchant, the hall way from main entrance, the training area, the nursery, the bedrooms: you can rest between all those small fights if you want. There's enough space between them.
Or use the waypoint teleport from where you pick the legendary mace as someone else said.
