Do familiar grant advantage (help) on attack rolls like 5e?

If you are familiar (excuse the pun) with 5e you'll know familiars are a popular commodity because they can (usually*) grant advantage on attack rolls. So my question is, does this apply in BG3?

*Some DMs may change the ruling on the help action giving advantage to attacks.
