Where's is the versatile weapon 1-hand and 2-hand switch button?
The UI is so frustrating. Weapon description says the long sword is versatile and you can hold in 1 hand or 2. But where's the button for that? I managed to find a video from early access with old UI and there was a button for that. But where is it now?

That happens automatically. Place a shield in your off hand slot - 1 handed. Leave it empty - 2 handed.

if you use it with a shield or another weapon it's one handed.
if you use it without anything it's two handed.

But what if I want to wield it 1-hd and leave my off hand empty?

Thanks, guys.

But honestly, bruh Larian, this is so unintuitive.

You cannot use it with another weapon. Unless you have a dual wielder feat you cannot dual wield versatile weapons.

Why would you want to do that, though? There's no benefit.

There’s a perk for damage he might want

Plus 2; which in the early game would make up for the less damage at the top by guaranteeing it at the bottom

Correction it doesn’t apply to versatile weapons

So there is no reason you may as well grab the shield and get some defence
