torch and moon lantern exchange bugged?
Somehow the game repeatly refuses to let me replace a torch for a moon latern, at worst i have equiped both. I can unequip the moon latern but the torch stays in the lamp slot untill i drop it to the floor, still the moon latern refuses to be placed in the torch slot at least when i intent it, somehow a single time it worked but not anymore. Is this bugged or is there some kind of logic behind it that i cant quiet grab?

The lunar lantern is considered a club, so it does not allow it to be placed in the torch slot, it is not a bug

Whether you're right or me, there is a bug either way.

Be it because they should not find into the slot at all or one has to try alot with unequip and replace till they do.

For real? I once tried it.. and though the nasty looking fairy did trick me, offense me and lied before flying away, then i looked at all those dead harfners and felt like an idiot and loaded the quicksave i made pre-looting the lamp :>

ye, long as you ask for somethin in return she should give you a perma buff for shadow immunity and a bell to summon her

So there is a "good" way to settle this after all. I felt unsure because of how the fairy behaived, more like a tiny beggar with wings you would find in dirty backalleys in fairytown dealing with fairy dust :>

Had a similar issue.
Steps to replicate + to fix in case anyone finds this in the future:
1. Kill the original carrier
2. After picking the Moonlantern up talk to the fairy
3. Do not release the fairy
4. Stow the item in inventory
5. Try to interact or equip afterwards - looks like it is not working
6. Drop it on the ground
7. Choose a character and drop all torches from their inventory so that the torch slot is clear
8. Now pick the Moonlantern from the ground - it will auto-equip itself on the torch slot
That's it. Now it works. I still consider it a bug, but fortunately it has this dumb fix.

This was the only thing that worked for me... dropping all torches and the Moonlantern autofilling to the torch slot. Constant errors trying to use it any other way.

Thanks <3 :praisesun:
