Halsin disappeared?

So, obviously big spoilers.

I had taken out Gut and convinced the drow to attack the grove so I could bait her there. Then, I finally found halsin, and with him, we took down the goblin king. he then told me to look for him at the grove, where I proceeded to finish off the goblins and the drow. However, halsin is nowhere to be seen, even the NPCs in the grove are like "Where the heck is halsin".

Where can I find him? What happened to him?

After you clean the goblin camp and killed all 3 leaders, he's usually in the circle outside the entrance of the druid enclave.

You have to take down all 3 bosses in the Goblin camp. At least i had to. If i recall correctly Halsins quest says kill the 3 bosses.

I have completed the entire goblin thing. All leaders are dead, and the grove is saved, and he's nor outside nor inside the grove...

Okay... so I found Halsin. Problem: he thanked me for taking out all the goblin leaders, then told me to meet me at the grove. Except.. he doesn't move. He doesn't go to the grove, just stays inside the goblin stronghold, forever thanking me and telling me to meet him at the grove...

Did you go to your Camp? For me he was already there, when i had a similar bug. If so you can proceed by talking to Zevlor in front of the Grove.

I just tried settin up camp, he's still there still telling me "Let's meet back at the grove". Also Zevlor's already gone, so I can't talk with him...

Hi, I have a similar problem, I killed the goblin bosses, however Halsin completely disappeared, and he couldn't go to the grove because I destroyed it several hours ago. What can I do ?

Don't worry, this ain't the end of problems with Halsin. I had an issue where he just completely disappeared in act 2 so his follow up quest was impossible to complete, and yes, I did check the catacombs before doing it, and no, nothing indicates that it should make the quest impossible to complete. All the other NPCs and clues are still there, but Halsin just dropped completely off the map and can't be found in my camp or in any of the quest's locations either.

I've had to knock him out and steal his notes. Sadly apparently it's a known bug? It's so sad because I completely lost a potential companion :(
