Game crashes on startup

exactly what it says on the tin, I can't play the game because it keeps crashing on startup

I was able to play fine on the initial release date and for a couple days following it. Hotfix 1 & 2 each caused me unique issues that I circumvented by launching the game through the game's folder as an administrator. Since hotfix #3, I have been unable to load any saves as the game always crashes at 60% loaded. I can create new characters and play the tutorial, but the cutscene after connecting the teleport transponder crashes the game.(Again, it loads to 60% and then the game crashes).Point is, I can't play the game.

I updated my graphics card, Windows version, tried DX11 and Vulcan, gave Baldur's Gate 3 exceptions in my firewall, reduced in game graphics quality, tried windowed mode(instead of fullscreen), scoured the internet for possible fixes and implemented most of them, and cleaned up my PC files to optimize efficiency. I had a few of my Techie friends check out my hardware and even had it looked at briefly by a computer repair place in town. Nobody found any issues/reason, hardware or software, why BG3 shouldn't run on my computer with my specs.

HP Omen, Intel Core i7, 24 GB RAM, 64 bit operating system

At this point, i'm certain there's just something wrong with Baldur's Gate 3 itself as all my other games run fine.

My suggestion: Make your issues/concerns known here on the forums and send crash reports to Larian Studios. Unfortuately i suggest taking a break from the game and let Larian sort out the issues. It's not worth tearing out your hair as much as I have. Come back to test the game once after each Patch and Hotfix to see if Larian has resolved the issue affecting you.

i have the same issue, i crash when loading a save file at 60%

Have you tried deleting Temp files?

I have not tried to delete temp files specifically, though I did uninstall and re-install multiple times. I'll try deleting temp files and will respond if that fixed anything

@chicken juice you do not have the same issue as me, because I don't get to the point of having save files. it crashes at the launcher

Thank you! The launch option ' "*Path to Steam folder*\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\bg3_dx11.exe" %command% ' + holding Shift while launching resolved the launcher issue for me.
