I dunno, I did everything in Act 1 and now my entire party is lvl 7. Just about to move into act 2 (dunno if there is any difference if moving into act 2 from mountain pass or grymforge, might try both)
there is. Grymforge can lock you into a permanent cutscene bug.
Also you missou 2 character story progressions and an encounter that will have some material for a possible later main quest event.
I think this is the only boss fight IN THE GAME that you could probably do with a solo character if you position well because your damage doesn't matter, the fall damage from the spider falling off the burning web will do a massive amount of damage.
I cleared all of grymforge, including the forge and the grym fight, did all the stuff in mountain pass with lae'zel in my party and ended up killing every single gith in there after convincing lae'zel to be on my side + the event in the camp meeting voosh). Literally the only things I haven't done is to actually enter act 2.
So, you are saying that depending on if I take the elevator to act 2 or if I move from mountain pass into act 2 I might have different outcomes?
Assuming you actually fight the patrol, which I did not since I had Lae'zel with me. No fighting needed. As far as I understand, act 2 doesn't actually start until you enter the shadow-cursed lands.
