Extreme low replayability.

The linear story boring scuffed act 2 and 3, and level 12 cap...ive finished 3 playthroughs...im on my 4th solo and its starting to be boring af.

I have only 140 hours, i have 60 hour in early access plz stop say i have 200 in release version.

Ive seen all possible dialogues but wtf does that have to do with the tedium of travelling round garbage act 2 and 3, yes i even multiclassed on my last playthrough all classes just to see if there is any relevant dialogues for various classes. doesnt really make much difference, paladin , bard and warlock have the most dialogues.

I think it's because it's not a true role-playing game... in that you're only allowing to play the roles of what the dev's developed against the linear story line. It doesn't seem as open as the previous BG's, even though they all had a main story line too. I dunno... but the immediate alarm for me was that I really couldn't create an entire party of my own given the whole squid abduction backdrop story.... It's fun for me being my first play through, but I'll probably reach your sentiments soon. I already know for my 2nd play through I will ignore all pod characters, keep everyone in camp that I have to put up with, and use hirelings for the rest of my party and ignore all the character quests lol...

NGL, that was my first play through. Still having fun, but now I have challenged myself with a no save scum run.

That "saved scummed" phrase is only used by those who are trying to slurp the developers private packages on these forums for attention. Makes you look desperate, like a psycho girlfriend on her monthly adventure. Players are forced to save the game over and over due to 1000's of bugs. This allows players to find work-around fixes. Next time you want to come to the adult table, please leave your triggered behavior behind. Thanks!

I think he is just soldiering on like me, but i can hardly wait to jump back to WoTR again. Or maybe Arcanum to forget this game. It was this years greatest disappointment, and even being a participating player in EA did not prep me for how much of a disappointment it turned out to be.

Previous Baldur's gate were not more open and op is lying about getting all the possible dialogues. He would need to play at least four times to each companions ends plus when you play them as well as the dark urges.

Omg. This guy finish the game 3 times and are complaining about starting to be boring. I can't even play any game a second time without much time passing between the first and second playthrough.

honestly, there is 2 playthroughs in this game.

But the reason im doing more, is to test multiclass options and make sure i acquired every preset static item in the game and test them all out on various builds.

I found a lockadin build that will hit in excess of 500 damage now. doing this. with a single swing of his pact weapon and a level 5 divine smite.
You need very specific gear and 24 charisma.

But outside of this , playing thro0ugh the abysmal story and boring act 2 and 3 half finished narratives is not fun.

there's nothing linear about this game. I'm watching other "let's plays" and people are experiencing completely different outcomes than I am.
