Evil Run seems lame (not dark Urge)
I am actually playing my third run (first one is still in act 3 'cause I'm still waiting the patch). I choose to follow evil choices with my necromancer and I noticed some problems """SPOILER""" after act 1.


During act 2 you arrive at last light inn and after I helped Marcus with Isobel the cutscene were the same as the one where I helped Isobel in the first playthrough:

-jaheira still wanted my help with shadows after this ( wut ?)

-my character in the cutscene was scared off because marcus kidnapped Isobel (lol I wanted him to do this)

- dialogue choices are poor and sometimes they all go in the same way

-minthara for now has zero dialogues or Quest except for "kill ketheric: no romance after first act sex, she became a ghost after been saved.

Clearly the game is not intended to be played in a total chaotic evil run keeping the plot solid, instead everything seems to falls apart from a narrative prospect.


I really hope this will change during act 2 and 3 because it is really weird playing coherently as the evil guy.

i am on my second run, trying to be evil with dark urge and was different from yours but I feel somehow similar as you

- i followed the goblins to the moonrise tower, was tasked with retrieving ketheric's stuff and helped ketheric escape
- during ketheric's escape i then helped the gnomes' prison break, i followed them on the boat and travailed to last night inn
- once i arrived, since I wanted to be evil, i wasnt very cooperative and the whole inn gone hostile on me and i killed everyone in the yard
- then i realised i cannot "save" minthara there, I needed to bring her back to the main entrance of the moonrise tower, but without moon lantern and isobel's blessing i would not be able to do so, so i reloaded to previous safe and did not follow the gnome
- so i saved minthara and recruited her, then i decided to go back in the moon rise tower to get a lantern, then i was warned if i bring minthara in the tower everyone would be hostile - so i recruited her and cannot have her in my team
- also i realised you can have pixie's blessing in evil run, which is SOOOO annoying
- oh then i was asked be my butler to go kill isobel, which i did, killing everyone in the last light inn, but in the cutscene its somehow a winged lesser demon kind mob kidnapping isobel - i was like what? where did it come from and hello? I killed her


my run so far isn't really a good experience, i feel like going complete evil lunatic has so much sacrifice and very little to gain - a lot of annoyances, killing the good guys do not give good loot, saving minthara means losing many companions etc

From what I've read Minthara has been butchered as a companion and playing evil doesn't feel rewarding at all especially with all the Tieflings dead since they offer a fair few quests in the game. Act 2 and (specifically) Act 3 don't feel as polished as Act 1 and it gets much more noticeable the further in the game you go, obviously Act 1 has been playtested to hell and back due to EA but I was hoping for a little more polish from such a highly acclaimed game.

Going pure evil locks you out of lots of great items also
