How do I make dual wield work with mace and short sword?
I got a legendary one handed mace in act 1 and damn i wanna use it, also really cool short sword, I play fighter but I was thinking about resp to Paladin, can I make it work with dual wielding? I read somewhere that I need some special skills for this but not sure which one:/

At level 4 you can unlock the dual-wielding feat that allows you have non-light weapons in each hand.

Definetly get at least 3 levels of Rogue for the Thief subclass ability fast hands. Gives you two bonus actions, both of which can be offhand attacks.

My characters refuse to dual wield even if I put a dagger in their off hand. It seems like you need the perk, or to presumably play a Ranger.
Without the feat, you can only dual wield two light weapons. Unfortunately you can't say, dual wield a rapier and a dagger without said feat.
