Invisibility is the worst mechanic
As I enjoyed my experience through the game one thing kept annoying the hell out of me and constantly dragging out the fights and that was enemies that had invisibility even with my main character with olo's Ersatz Eye to Permanently See Invisibility and two other characters with SEE invisibility Potions and my mage that has the spell to see invisibility
every turn the enemy would get saves after saves on their roles dragging out the fight for so long and not to mention the boss fight with Demon Yurgir or the haunted house in ACT 3 in act 3 if you go to the gardens there is a ambush waiting for you they are invisible if your position yourself right you can get them out of invisibility and not enter combat so I was able to test how many times it would take me to get them out of invisibility now it is r&g but majority of the time it took four or five turns of my character just standing there watching them constantly getting saves on their roles and through this I figured out simply casting a rain spell is way more effective than any of the See invisibility options.

Faerie Fire and then say bye bye to invisibility. Plus you can generally guess where they are and land an aoe of some sort. Just pay attention during the fight. When you move and see a "saved: seen" in a location that's where they are. Just because you didn't "see" them doesn't mean you still can't hit them.

I found even more annoying:

- use an invisibility potion on yourself
- enemies look for you but can't find you
- enemies decide to drop the fight : you are forced out of battle
- enemies heal all their HP because they can when out of battle, wasting all the efforts you've made to kill them

It's basically the game deciding to fully heal all your enemies instantly, and you can't do anything against it.

don't know which part of the game that you're in but in act 3 specially in the vault you have enemies that apply invisibility at the end of their turn every turn my team comp Barbarian Knight cleric Rogue was mostly characters that didn't have any sort of aoe clear but they do a lot of single Target damage and I don't particularly want to save scum just to bring in a certain character with aoe, the spells and unique items and Potions should do their job properly to reveal invisibility like the description says instead I'm throwing water barrels at enemies and playing whack-a-mole on "see" checks

The DC for the see invisibility save is based on your spellsave DC, at least when you use the spell. Enemies *never* save against it for me, because they literally can't since my spellsave dc is 30 or higher.

So what you're saying is the items don't work as intended unless you're a mage, fun..

You don't understand the issue, here the game decides to cancel the fight because it can't see your invisible characters, but you are there and ready to hit them... except you can't because all of a sudden you are thrown out of combat against your will, and the enemies get an instant full heal. You can't even pause because it is blocked.

This is a big issue with the current combat system. Enemies shouldn't be able to declare themselves out-of-combat whenever they want. They should at least obey the 27 meters rule, which they don't.

invisibility + sanctuary with many of the Bhaal cultists was cancer.
and of course they dont attack me, just turn invisible and move somewhere

Thunder arrows, everybody that can use any type of bow can use them and those cultists are so close to the edge.

There’s lots of ways to deal with invisible enemies. I’m fond of Faerie Fire myself just for ease of use but there’s lots of methods.

The level 1 spell create water will literally just expose them, upcast it for a higher radius.
