Re-Enable Achievements
So , I added a mod and started a new game. It said that the Achievements will be disabled because of the mod and I clicked OK.
Now that I got bored of the mod , I deleted everything and resumed from my previous un-altered game.
Are the Achievements ON or do I need to do something?

You'll need to throw your hard drive into the fires of Mount Doom in Mordor, then buy a new PC, make a new identity with a fresh Steam account, and with a bit of luck you will be OK.

If that doesn't work you may have to sell your soul.

Assuming you deleted everything mod related Achievements should work again.
When in doubt there's an achievement enabler mod available...I got Achievements even though I'm using mods...even if it's just to annoy people who think everyone who doesn't play their way shouldn't get achievements...:P

Hey I made a mod to exactly solve this problem. It's called Achievement Enabler, you can search it on Nexusmods or use link

Check the integrity of your files through steam if you want to be 100% sure you're running vanilla.

Also, be ready to wait a while as it does so, since this is a fairly big game with a lot of files.

Lol. That is actually really funny. Why even disable achievements if you use mods anyway?

Larian has always done that. Original Sin 2 had native mod support and they would still disable achievements, even if you used QoL / Bugfix mods.

It's pretty lame, really. Games being coded to disable achievements if mods are detected seems to be a thing. It's not even just to get mods to cheat, it's on the smallest stuff too. Want to have a mod so you can have a true black hair color or a different wacky shade to be seen from space? Alright, but you can kiss your achievements access goodbye :steamfacepalm:

And almost no-one cared and just used the achievement enabler mod...^^

Deleting the Mods and the Mod Enabler didn't fix it. To fix it , you need to delete also the folder "Mods" in the appdata folder

Do you have the directory to the file? I think I'm in the right place but I want to be certain

I removed my mods, the mod loader, and the 'mods' folder in the appdata folder. Do you suppose it would work to re-enable the achievements as it did for you?
